Amitabh's Granddaughter Says 'No' To Bollywood
"It's a firm no!" a source close to the Nanda family of Delhi has affirmed.

Navya Naveli, the gorgeous teenaged daughter of Shweta and industrialist scion Nikhil Nanda -- like her mother -- will not ever take the step of joining Bollywood.

"She prefers academics," the source emphasised, adding, "And is more than happy pursuing her studies at the prestigious Sevenoaks school in Britain."

Earlier, 9xe had reported that Navya's illustrious grandfather Amitabh Bachchan wasn't too keen on her becoming an actress either (Big B Against His Granddaughter's Bollywood Debut, August 14).

However, Navya has been in the public eye ever since she stole the show at a high society evening - Parisian Le Bal des Debutantes. Plus, there has been incessant buzz that she's been seen on occasion in the company of Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan, who is studying at the same school.

Of late, Navya - perhaps stymied by the unavoidable media spotlight on star children - has been going slow with updates on the social media.

At one point, she had tweeted: "Someone had hacked my account. I have not posted any message since last week." Subsequently, tweets were posted to express Diwali greetings and then to convey her thanks to those who wished her on birthday.

Since then, she has kept a low-profile. Understandably so, because it's studies which matter and not the prospect of future stardom.
